Update to Genie + at Disneyland - May 2024

What is Genie +?

There are 2 ways to skip the lines at Disneyland and Disney World: Lightning Lane included in the paid Genie + service and Individual Lightning Lane.

There’s been an update since the last time we used Genie + at Disneyland and it has to do with this common question…

What happens when you have a Lightning Lane return time and your ride has a temporary or unexpected closure during your return window?

OLD:

You could redeem your anytime/any location pass for any ride that also had Genie +. The only rides excluded were Individual Lightning Lanes.

NEW:

There are tiers of rides. Be sure to click "Find Out Where You Can Go" before getting in line.(I leaned this the hard way!)

If you have Park Hopper, be sure to click the icons at the top to see what you can choose from in each park
